Perhaps the confusion comes from the fact that four-stroke carbs have fuel screws and two-stroke carbs have air screws. Can happen to the best of us.

I doubt that it could be a shock oil level if you haven't seen any leakage or just had your shock rebuilt. If all your mounts (subframe, luggage, exhaust) and swingarm shaft are tight I'd be looking...

Sorry, not a big fan of the giant loop. Soft bags ARE the way to go in an off road situation though, but I'm looking a set-up I can lockup when I'm in the city or on a pavement trip.

Thanks! Now that looks like the solution I've been after. I've always liked the Jesse bags, but because of their weight and the SE's lack of strength, I had ruled them out. Time to give them a call....

Keep trying. Ken's jet kit has transformed my SE from a surging, sputtering pig to a finely tuned tire shredding beast. Well worth the day or two wait for him to get back to you.
