You do not have to take the upper crash bars off to take off the tank. Just unscrew the front two bolts and move the bars out a little. I like mine. Can't hang with the look of the rumbux either.

I had to take the E07 off the front of my 1190 ADV R because it was slowly leaking air all around the rim on both sides.
