If you try and bend the stock pipes you would probably loose some chrome and have to wrap 'em or re-chrome 'em

The tach's come with a short angle-bracket, and IIRC that was bolted to the triples.

Check both... I had a similar wobble on my G/S and it turned out the front forks has...
