IIRC, KTM has two front sprockets: one fits 2 strokes and RFS bikes, one fits LC4 bikes. The splines are the same but the LC4 sprocket is a bit thicker....

Thanks all for the info.
The closure is what I figured ... pushing the bike seems to be going against the purpose of the rule, not to mention you look guilty doing it. ("Appearance of Impropriety" as my attorney SO says.)...
