I have run MT21's in the past (on a DR650) and they worked well on road and excellent on the back roads of New Zealand. They did wear faster than other tires but a good choice for dual sporting.

Turns out....not the cam chain. A piece of silicone had made its way up to the top gasket around the piston and blocked the oil flow. I am lucky that the motor did not lock up causing me to go off...
