I am still sticking at 75 mpg on highway commuting. That is cruising the mid 70's mph indicated for my 20 mile one way commute.

For what OP is looking to do, definitely 400cc and up. Find a left over or used BV500 or Scarabeo 500 for the big wheeled experience. They can easily hold 80mph and even do the ton.

I think the rear wheel is 4 to 5" off of the ground on the center stand on purpose. Fit some longer shocks by 2 to 3" and lace a larger diameter wheel up front and a skid plate = play dirty!
