To reconfirm; I have tried the clutch switch circuit open and closed by using the wires, not the switch. The side stand seems to be working correctly based on my testing.

I certainly appreciate the planning and the skill involved in the fab work, but for me it just doesn't hit the spot. The bike seems disproportionate, and doesn't scream "adventure" to me in any way....

The DR is an 05 has almost 46K miles on it so far. It wouldn't have the paper base gasket, however I think that I'll still pull the cylinder and have it specked and honed.
