I believe they are 1" dia. I bought a cheap set of Bikemaster pegs that had an insert on the brackets for use on two sizes of bars. I didn't need to use the insert when I mounted them.

I'm afraid to go to a dealer to look at and ride the FJ. The ergos are almost identical to my NCX, and I love the FJ on paper.
The only down side to replacing the NC with the FJ is losing the fake...
