l looked for you

Reading this thread it sounds like I missed you. I didn't look up at the spots over looking the camp site until Saturday. I guess you had left by then.

I like this picture of me taking out Quinn...

Dale can ride

The NC700 flew.. I think for forest service roads good tires and a good pilot are all you need. I suspect that Dale could out ride most folks no mater what he was riding. Still the NC700 was...

The only pic I took

Glad no one got hurt. I did see a few other folks go wide and end up bouncing out of the ditch so don't feel too bad. Thanks Olyrider for setting this up for us all.

lots of DNF's

I'm surprised how few 100 mile racers finished the full 100 miles. I'm not sure how many racers took off in that first wave, but only 256 of us completed both laps.

PS - My TKC 80 rear tire is at around 40% tread... Is this likely to be enough for a conservative n00b?[/QUOTE]\

two liters will be fine

I ran my yz250f with a .8 gallon accessory tank last year with 13/49 gearing last year and was fine. Rather have too much than not enough. This year I upgraded to a bigger tank though.

I wish I could make it

I was going to be assisting with the demo rides (7 brands, 20+ bikes!) but sadly I will be attending a memorial service in Canada this weekend. Life is short and precious, I gotta ride more.

worth the trip

Make a trip to one of the dealers near Seattle, it'll be worth it. I'm 5'6" and have a 29" inseam and rode a 950 for years. Stay away from the "tall" seats and the "R" or "S" suspension and you'll be...

A friends cousin builds and races Unlimited Buggies in So Cal. He stopped racing there 10 years ago because of the lawlessness and booby traps. Shit like this makes me never want to go Mexico.
