Talking UK Bike Show

On Friday we went to the main UK bike show. We've always gone at the weekend in the past, but we'll remember to take a day off in the week for it in future, as it's so much quieter, which means that...

Skippii makes a valid point here. It's not the capacity you should be worried about, but the power. I wouldn't necessarily go along with him specifically about the Buell, though I'm not dismissing...

Cool2 How about a Hornet 600?

I got myself a new Hornet 600 earlier this year. It has an upright riding position and is a hoot to ride (my other ride is a 2006 R1). Although it's a bit heavier than some of the bikes you've been...

Thumb Made it there

We were staying at Lake Lure earlier this month and, having heard about Wheels Through Time from this forum, we decided to pay a visit. Rather naively we just headed for Maggie Valley (in a loan car...

It is a 2008 Honda Hornet 600. You got earlier versions of the Hornet 600, called the 599, in the States, but you don't get this 2007-2008 model (as of yet anyway). It has the motor (in a different...

I think some people have misinterpreted my comments about luggage on the CB1000R. I realise that there will be some sort of straps or hooks under the seat - my R1 has straps too - but I wouldn't feel...

Wink Here in rainy England ...

I have Pilot Powers on my 2006 R1 and my 2008 Honda Hornet 600. I find them great, wet or dry. I've ridden the R1 in some monsoon-like conditions and couldn't fault the tyres.

Eek Stinky!

I had a Hornet 900 for nearly five years and 13,500 miles. And I have to say that I loved it.

However, I'm one of the owners who had a really serious problem with the stink. When I first got it I...

Talking Demo rides on Honda's 2008 litre bikes

I've just written up my impressions of the 2008 Fireblade and the CB1000R (which you don't get in the States). My write-up can be found at: Janet Rides Honda's 2008 Litre Bikes...
