Here is one. I'm positive there's more. Eastern portion of the TAT doesn't seem to be that bad for bigger bikes, but from what I've read, most wouldn't dare do the Western portion on a bigger bike.

He could be wearing real gear under the gortex and using it as rain gear. I used to do that with my old BDU gortex until I bought a real rain suit.
