Blue smoke during decel or during a shift is a sign that the valve guides are going bad/worn out. As for the rest of the problems after running the motor with out or low on oil, previous post apply.

Thanks for the info. Looked at that guy's pictures. Good STuff. I don't want to modify the bike. I want to keep it as STock as possible. If I do go into the carbs I will just want it to run smooth....
