OK here you go:

Remove engine from bike.
tear down completely wipe down all bearing with acetone then use a clean micofiber cloth and wipe down bearing with Rotiila wipe down oil.
now reassemble...

remove spark plugs - turn engine over to empty cylinders

remove sparks and turn engine over to empty cylinders
Drain /refill engine with fresh oil
check your transmission oil for water also

Eh? Sounds like - Hydro lock

Fuel petcocks left on gas in the cylinder = Hydro Lock

the outcome was that an uncrompressable media entered the engine causing this fault.

Not knowing the years of your XR200 or ATC 185 cylinder kit I would get the 2 cylinders side by side do a comparison then go for it if all looks good.

You will need the rear paralever / driveshaft - front forks could be drz400

Lots of options but the rear paralever / driveshaft could be expensive.

Otherwise 750 engine will fit the frame /...

You can remove the rotors and then replace with aftermarket EBC rotors bolted in place.


Getting old rotor trued is not a viable option.

Do you have a tank bag?? possible it is blocking tank vent.

After next fill up run on reserve - this will cause gas to feed through reserve straws maybe mains are blocked.
