I've been using some boxes off JC Whitney for years and lots of miles. No problems, easy on and off. One I have on for the last 3 years is kinda a Givi type mount but different measurements.

Just came back from the garage and starting the KLR. -2C in there. Engine turned over about 4 revs before starting with full choke. Went ahead and let it run till the thermo opened up.
