I have a Fox on my two PD's and a 88 GS the 88 had a twenty year old Fox on it when I bought it 30k miles ago. That's at least one rebuild on that Ohlins. There about as over rated as it gets.

Find you a nice Fox Shock it will out last 10 Ohlins shocks and for a old GS it's better. You pay $900 for a rear Ohlins shock and if you ride a lot it will have to be rebuilt in three years.
