Thumb Problem solved.

Yeah, its an LED. I did wonder if it could have been a connection in the display, LED failures are pretty rare.

Well it only flickered for a while after her first fire up in a couple of months.

I checked and topped up the oil and thought nothing more of it as I never saw it again.
