I also had the Triumph tank pad. Inexpensive and did the job. I would prefer a bit of clear bra to cover the rear of the tank but the local shops wanted around $100 to complete the work.

Same here. I always stop and look over the KTM at my nearby dealer who has both Ducati and KTM. Test rode one. Great bike but the appearance doesn't do it for me.

I use a dry bag strapped to the rear seat for our annual week long trip.

I also added a Cal Science screen which was a big improvement.

Will also likey get a custom seat.

Sure - the Seattle coaches chose the play but whatever the logic, it was fundamentally wrong. The error was just amplified by the events which occurred after the play call error.
