I was also a bit worried about bending the brake line but it was not a big deal at all. I used the wife's hair dryer set to high for about two minutes and bent it down to go under my HDB hand guards....

How are you running the cables, over or under the handguards? I'm installing mine now and over the handguards looks correct but the brake line is super tight on the handguard arm.

I think you would be. James Renazco got me hooked on them years ago and they go on every new bike I get before the first ride! For me they are a huge help on the wrist, elbow and shoulders.
