Exactly the same mechanically as far as I know, stock gearing might be different? Ours come restricted too, throttle stop etc, AFAIK most dealers install the GYTR de-restriction kit pre-delivery.

Even mid-late 200X mx/enduro bikes use a similar level of electronic tech as 80's bikes. But the CDI's are more refined, as are the carbs, as is the suspension, as is the frame geometry, etc etc...

The main reason I'm riding a WR450 now and not an XT660, is that the XTZ is soooo heavy... they weigh more than my TDM did, with just over half the power and one less...

TM Designs said they don't make one for the 03-06 WR450's, Thumpertalk said the YFZ450...
