I notice that everyone quotes 30-something HP from the KLRs. I dyno'd mine. 44HP on the dot. Nothing more nothing less. Both my bikes are also bone stock (tall windshield on the '11).

DR650 vs KLR650 problems
+1 No problems - KLR
Okay, one problem in 42,000 miles between a '94 and an '11 KLR. Electrical left me stranded once on the '94. Other than that I haven't had any problems.
I guess I should add that both bikes...
