I have been through most of the loom and wrapped a couple of spots which had shown wear. I did have my horn die from exactly that problem a couple of years ago so am on top of this one (I think)...

I managed 65km on reserve. Was lots of coasting downhills and kept to about 80kph.
Only had to push the bike about 2km, so a great result :clap

Just whipped the rocker cover off and it appears everything is still there (phew).
But the decompression shaft did side out as I took the cover off (possibly because the bike is on its side-stand....

I can't seem to start her, it seems like the starter motor is unable to turn the engine over properly, it sometimes gets one compression done...
