I lowered mine with a kouba link and slid the forks up a bit. Works for me. I have a 32 in seam and like to come close, if not flat foot the bike. Too many pot holes on the logging roads around here....

I too had a TW and loved it for the logging roads around here. I found over time that it was a little small for the highway and bought a new CRF250L.
I have enjoyed the bike for a year now, using it...

My 650 V-Strom seems to work fine for two up. Sure hope Honda or Yamaha comes out with a Dual sport light enough for fun on the off road and powerful enough for two up with a 21 inch front wheel.
