I just sold my 2007 Road Glide with the pre-'09 frame, 5 gallon gas tank, 96" 6 speed and purchased a used 2013 Road King.

There has been much said about how much better the newer '09 up frames...

I really think it's an overblown issue much like everything else. I ride my 2007 Roadglide to its limit quite a bit on the curves, etc and I am not feeling all kinds of slop and flex with no brace....
