That's something I wonder myself. The intake manifold that I installed just had the square hole in it like that 5.0 and the block had a matching hole.

The HEI dist. that I bought is specifically made for 5.0EFI->carb conversions, thus the cam gear is accurate.

I'll play with trying to burp it. The burp (air bubble) should just go out radiator...
