Trimmed the goofy King/Queen seat. Next up, smoothing it a bit, then glueing on a layer of thin foam followed by a marine vinyl cover....

I say this is a good excuse to get another bike. Even a strictly HD rider could pick up a Sportster and ride it on rainy or cold days. Get a blacked out one and don't worry about chrome.

I ride with a guy that has a Connie. Good rider. Bike is BIG but it handles well. He is always changing tires. I think he is searching for "the perfect set" as he wants grip but also wants long wear....

Probably easier to get a Thruxton and switch wheels, though I have no experience with it.
My understanding is Thruxton rear sets and standard Bonnie exhaust don't work.
