Try to get another hex key or even a star (Torx) that fits tighter. and tap it into the bolt....

I use the Garmin Bicycle mount with my 60CX (heavier gps) on my Husaberg and it's never been an issue. I do use the wrist strap as a tether just in case.

If you want to do away with the clutch switch, that will need a jumper.

Worked for me without bypassing the pump. Funny mine failed with 1100 miles on the bike (about my 3rd ride). I carry a set of points, a little more hassle if they need changed in the field though
