Completed my service, all went well and I would recommend that anyone that has some mechanical ability would find it fairly safe and easy to do.
The generator belt was a bit fiddly as its so tight...

Spark Plug Change
Doing my 40,000KM service, here is a photo of the plugs, they look ok so I was wondering wether to leave them for now. The bike is fairly new to me so I have no idea how long they have been in there....

40,000KM Service Questions
I'm about to do my 40,000KM service on my 2010 OHC R1200GS (my first GS)
1) Check Adjust Valve Clearances
2) Engine Oil / Filter Change
3) Gearbox Oil
4) Air Filter
5) Replace 4x Spark Plugs...
