Anyone using front fender extensions for rain riding? I live in Seattle and I am realizing I would like some more front spray protection. Anyone with any experience?

Standard windshield question

So I have a 2006 1200GS and the original owner got an GSA windscreen aftermarket. What do I do with the standard?

It is just sitting there...are they good? Anyone prefer them?

Thanks for the feedback. I will keep it mainly tame this first year and once I want to get more adventurous I can look at dampened steering and shocks. I will also hold off on wheels as you guys...
