I ride an O7 GS. The ABS on the O7 and newer bikes no longer have servo-assist. A BMW dealer can look up your bike to see if the recall issues were all addressed. They I'd think you'd be good to go....

On my 07 F650gs, I had pretty much the same on-trail experience as GSBS. But out on the pavement, I still want the ABS. I really wish BMW had a better "on the fly" solution or setting.
