It seems that identifying rights of way is difficult becuase they are embedded in common law and as such not really documented anywhere...

If you are a diligent mechanic - which I’m not, then i think you will find it reliable.
As an example, mine is a 2003 too and recently I’ve had problems with electrical connectors failing....
