Fort Davis is another good day trip as well.

Gonna take a lot of slabbing to get there and as previously reported there is practically nothing for dirt. Kind of ironic for that area of the state.

In the opposite direction is the Texas Hill Country. Big Bend is just down the road...

Yea, tough call. I would prefer the 99 but think I would pass just for the import hassles. The 98 is a good year as previously mentioned and those are not high miles for a GS.
