Just put in the spark arrestor insert - and it is much quieter with less back firing/bark on throttle closure.
Pretty amazing consider it is the same length, just .2 inch smaller ID (1.100 vs 1.300).

That is why I picked up a 500EXC for the more technical terrain.

It is a whole lot easier to pick up in those situations than it was with my 990ADV! Definitely has not been fragile - but then it has radiator guards and 5 gallon tank.

Had that problem using a Hammerhead bolt and washer assembly on my 990 ADV. The bolt head ended up shearing off. Sent it to Hammerhead but never got an anwer back.

Two of the washers are "Nord"...
