Haha, nice. I just meant that maneuvering in town or down tricky gravel roads or in heavy traffic is simpler if you don't have to slip the clutch as much.

FWIW, on my 1000, -1T on the front made low speed maneuvering and acceleration much easier. The tradeoff was just a few hundred revs at cruising speed.

Not for long distances, but I've done it in pinches with no technical/mechanical problems. I think the only thing to worry about is comfort--the seat's pretty crowded with two on it.
