Footrest update

I remember a post a little while ago about fitting wider footpegs--I took a chance on a pair from a 2001 WR400F (5BE) with pins and springs (springs essential)--and they fitted straight on (with a...

Airbox flapper

Changing the intake hole size won't affect the resonant frequency of the airbox volume, especially as you have a big foam aircleaner doing a really good dampening job anyway. I reckon that its some...

Recent upgrades

I've noticed recent posts on accessory sockets, heat shields --and finally a useful fit on the rear disc--the "F " enduro rear disc guard fits.

I used a kevlar reinforced carbon plate to put my...

Agree--I think the point has been missed by the rant--basically I think we are grateful, and a little surprised, that the little bike seems to handle distance and miles well compared to the 70/100...

Yam screen update

Please see my previous post with a carbon one--here's my latest in white which suits my bike better. I've reconfigured the 3M Dual lock. A test run at 60 mph plus keeps the wind off my chest and...

New Yam screen finished

Just fitted the first one out of the mould--its a bit of an overkill on layers. Secured with 3M dual Lock--but can be bolted of course. I can do white, a vague blue or black. See earlier post 47179....

Loss of electrons

Will the bike jump start with a battery pack? I've had a battery go down but once bump started and the headlight disconnected it got me home--in other words the generator was still producing 14+...

connectors

They don't look like the normal white Yam Molex type--are they left overs from a Fuel re-programer or speedo fixer that someone has simply unplugged--I would trace the looms back?
