One of the few close by.

That road is in Wayland - Old Oxbow road. There is another dirt road nearby (Lincoln road). They are about all I can get to in a one to two hour ride - otherwise I head much further west or north...

For #3 get the ABS dongle, which disengages ABS for the rear as a default. And for #6, I cannot recommend double-take mirrors enough.

Your experience is not atypical

Mine were good for a couple of years and then one was no longer waterproof. Because they are not Gore-tex A-Stars could not repair/replace. Shame, since they are otherwise nice boots.

I used one of both on my XChallenge. The 3inch put the mirror in a better spot. The 2inch wasn't bad, I just preferred the 3inch.
