Fixed - or being fixed to be exact

I took it all apart on saturday - heres what I found..
Rear main seal was good. No oil leak there. Likewise the oil pump cover.

The clutch slip appears to be from the new plate needing to bed...

Well this seemed fairly successful. 36 riders showed up, and had a good day. A few scaddy showers between Uralla and Guyra didnt dampen spirits. Raised $700+ for the scrapheap cause.

You will probably find the bulb wattage is too low - typical of the Chinese ones. Find out the original wattage for the bike and fit them. Sometimes you can get away with just changing one each side.

First thing I checked. Definitely engine oil. The only alternatives are the RMS and the oil pump O ring. Both were replaced 3000 km ago. I'm punting on the rear seal at this stage.

Ok, forget all the stuff about ICU's, balancing carbs, fuel taps etc. I've worked out that it starts up ok with little or no choke,so its running a little rich at idle. Problem solved. Thanks all

It was just an idle thought that there might be a little leakage past the taps flooding one cylinder. As it is taps dont leak and it doesnt matter if I leave them on or off.

I know the owner of this bike and its done a lot of distance with this setup without any problems, including outback dirt roads. These are higher quality turnbuckles, not your average hardware store...
