We may be doing that loop

This weekend, sat or sun. Not sure yet. If you're able to get up crab flats rocks you'll be fine. Usually ride the rocky stuff with a xr280, but do need to check out my recently purchased xr650r.

You can safely raise the forks at least 10 mm beyond the last mark. Use a vernier caliper to make sure both sides...

Map is you can use a protractor, cheap rei one, to find your location provided your gps gives you utm coords.
if no gps, you can still resection it.

Just recently had to choose between an xr650r and an lc4 sxc. The lc4 is too vibey 4 me. Reminded me of my te510 on the road. After a few miles the resale price on those is 2500 out here with 5k on...

My buddies run 15/47 on the xr650r.

Is right! My buddies on xr650r's get 45 to 50 mpg, rode with them in Death Valley. .160 mile loop, just shy of 4 gal. Still almost a gallon in their tanks..they are geared tall tho.

I think you can get a mountain hybrid already existing....kenda 270. Have had great luck with this tire.....properly aired down, which you will have to do anyhow with the mountain hybrid to get...
