Chain too tight?

Mine gets a bit rougher when the chain's too tight. After it loosens back up, shifting is very smooth.

Alarm connectors

The Big plug is for the alarm whilst the smaller one is for the magnetic sensor (you can attach one to the storage box - it triggers the alarm if somebody opens up lid).

I agree. SE950 and Adv 950/990 have a lot more technical overlap than 990/1190s do and it would help cut down on the confusion in some threads.
