Timing jumped too!

While replacing valve cover after valve adjustment, I could not find one of the thick rubber seals for the cover bolts. I fashioned a replacement and ordered a new one for later. Later came sooner...

Being somewhat nervous about the big "As#" dealership service department........

I need a KLR 650 savvy person to do a valve adjustment.

Proudly up on a display pedestle among the tassle and leather festooned HD's, knarley (and some probably unridable) choppers, rat bikes, squid rockets and such was a somewhat green KLR650.

Hooked up the grip warmers from dualstar just last week. Used the available heat shrinkable insulator and got the optional water resistant toggle boot too. Located the switch on KLR's left side...

FYI 2000 miles of KLR and the maxxis 6006 rear is shot for offroad. Still grips the road though. Continentals are next for me.
