My Harleys and BSA were chain drives, 72 & 73 HD Ironhead Sportsters, and the BSA was a 69.

I just thought it seemed like a weak point in the drive train.

If the pistons are really stuck in the calipers, and air pressure won't pop them loose, screw a grease zerk in to the caliper where the brake line threads in, and use a grease gun to press them out.
