I believe that geezer passes can only be purchased by US citizens. I'd suggest not getting a pass. There are lots of places to stay so why pay ahead and restrict yourself to state parks.

It's grossly hot in summer, but it offers great protection, so I wear bicycle shorts or just sweatwicking underwear underneath if it's too hot for lightweight...

PivotPegz on my Vstrom are great. Aggressive so my boots can't slip off. Larger surface area than conventional pegs, spreads the weight over more boot surface so better for standing up.
