If you want to mount crash bars, I'd pass. Otherwise I'd probably go for it with a hefty discount, assuming I could get a bore scope into the hole and verify the crack is parallel to the main block...

Ok, problem solved. It was the rocker clearance on the right cylinder intake. I read on Ted Porters site that even when these are in spec, they can be very loud if not adjusted close to the miniumum....

new noise during long trip - tensioner issue?

My 2000 Nissan Frontier has 176k miles on it. I've never replace the fuel filter - I'm assuming it is intregal to the pump inside the tank. My R1200GS will never get anywhere near that mileage on it...
