Thank you for the replies. Do you think the HES needs replaced or the wires leading into it need sealed/waterproofed? The HES was replaced at 50k approx, which the dealer told me was about normal.

Above bike with 80k miles has now sputtered to a stop in heavy rain twice in the past month. Last time got it towed home, let it sit in the sun for a day and it ran perfectly until we hit rain again...
