Nice 2012 S10 on Norfolk craigslist....

no affiliation, just noticed it. Mine may be on there too soon - need to get an ad together.

After 21K miles I can say I really enjoy the S10 (comparing it to my VStrom and GS I previously owned).

I would try in the following sequence:

1) flash as indicated by JRP's post below (good catch on his part, current flashing is on top of shingles and it should be under.

I've always wondered what it would be like to do that job. On the plus side, some great hiking/etc. as you wander through the woods. Of course I'm sure there is some pretty tough terrain.

Maybe...

Local feedback is post your land

When we bought our rural parcel 15 years ago, I wasn't worried about posting it. But as I met folks on our road, many born and raised up there, they shared that you should post it.

I think it...

Get the VStrom

I rode BMW's for 25 plus years (airheads, k bikes, oilheads, but no 1200's) and sold my 1100GS to buy a 2003 VStrom. That VStrom was such a better bike - 50,000 miles, one chain/sprockets,...

These bikes are a hoot!!

I remember them from my MSF days, I loved using them for the demo rides during training. They would be a blast for those folks living out in the rural areas. Very tempting......and affordable!:evil

Funny, my first thought is how tight lipped trout folks can be...

What kind of trout are you chasing?
Spinning or fly fishing?

I still need to get out and try the Jackson River above the Poor Farm area (north of Lake Moomaw).

I hope to be waving a fly...

Try Repel, pre-treat your pants

Only way I go out in the woods anymore. They die on contact and you don't have to put the poisonous stuff on your skin. I hate those stupid things..
