Pannier question

I'm looking at getting a new to me wr250r for light commuting, around town, and rural (local) exploring. My prior 990 and WeeStrom had luggage that really spoiled me. I see these GYTR sidebags in...

From my experience on a 2010 990 std, I felt the ABS was more worthwhile on the front than the back, to help prevent a front wheel wash-out. FWIW, I always felt any benefit was primarily street...

If it were me, I'd stay away from throwing anything that big on the front of an F150. Look up the front-axle rating on your specific truck build.

What's better onroad a 990 or f800gs?

I'm pretty sure I've decided between the f800gs or the tiger 800xc. I think about the yamaha only because it's a yamaha and reliability is not a...

Thanks for the review of your personal experience on these bikes. I just tested the 2013 GS this week, though I only put 20 miles or so on it. At 5'10' and 170, I'm considerably smaller than many...

Curious why there is not much talk about the Super Ten in this conversation? Yes its a bit more than a 2012 DL650, but I would think it's also a lot more bike. There have been accusations of it being...

I went from a 2005 Wee to a 2010 KTM 990, and found it hard to compare the 2. The KTM is so much more bike for off road, and compared to a Wee, so much more on road too. The beauty of the Wee is the...

Keep in mind that KTM designed the bike for "Travel". Agree that mpgs could be better, and the 5.8 gal tank (not incl reserve) is smallish, but 35 mpg should be consistently attainable in Touring use...
