Contact Perry Bushong, I think he had a hand in those bikes. Seems like every cafe bike i've seen of his doing has a "skirt" added to the seat upholstery. Just my observation.

BTW - I have a spare rotor, stator, diode board and voltage regulator we can swap if need be.

The older style tanks, pre seat cutout, were stamped Fuhrmann I, II or III to give you a reference for capacity. Since yours is a later style I'm not sure if that nomenclature is appropriate.

On both of my /5's that wire goes to one of the fuses tubes and dovetails with the front parking light, instrument cluster back lighting and rear running tail light. Hope that helps?!
