Newb with '96 DR350SE Clutch Slipping Problem

My DR has ~9000 miles on it and last riding season the clutch started to slip sometimes when I put it into 3rd gear and hit the throttle hard.

Update on my continued carb problems....

I have a '96 DR350SE that I purchased October 2010. I did the Jesse air box mod over the winter and sent the carb to him to install the larger jet and clean it up. I installed it last riding season...
