Warped rear rotor? Is the caliper moving slightly side to side as the tire turns. Newer bike but you never know. My 950 had the same problem and a new rotor fixed it.

It will be better on the road then the knobs you've tried. "Most" agree it's a a good compromise tire slanted toward off road. I get 2000 miles of decent off road bite with average throttle input...
