I prefer 130/80 and have fitted many different tyres in this size without any noticeable effect on handling. Some have even gone up to 150! but then you may get a different feel and clearance...

interesting ...I suppose it depends on what height you are as I tried a tall givi touring screen and the result was awful ....huge amount of noise and buffeting no matter what angle I fitted it at ....

strange you think that ..I'm 1.90m and never found it low ..far from it . Only concerns i've ever heard re the height were that if anything it was too tall for some riders.

I'm no expert but surely if the oil pump isn't doing a very good job then the engine will be more prone to overheating which is what I'm led to believe causes the valve seat problem
