+1 on this except that I've not 'tested' any pavement slides with mine. I have the un-coated (bare aluminum) 9" set. This size is equal width to my stock handlebars.

Tarryall Rd (CO 77) is currently closed from Lake George to Tarryall Reservoir Coming from US 24, you'd need to co west further past Wilkerson Pass and take the road toward Turner...
